Why is my mole removal scar red?!?!?!?

I got it removed off of my neck about 6 months ago. It’s raised and red. I wouldn’t mind it if it wasn’t red

Im guessing since the mole had access to a blood supply its just were the blood supply was and the skin hasnt grown over it if you get what i mean . I wouldnt worry about and it still may fade further in time but im sure you can buy products which will conceal it.
